April 2nd of the year 1980 was blessed for Rosezell and Darafela Rutley when Ryan DeAndre Rutley was born to them in Pontiac, MI. This began the legacy of the 5 sons that Ryan was the eldest to: Darick (Stephanie and offspring’s Madisen, Taylor, Morgan and Darick, Jr), Jason (Kristal) , Vincent (Larice) & Byron Rutley. At age 3 the family moved to Grand Rapids MI. and Ryan attended Shawnee Park elementary school from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

At age 12 and heading to the 6th grade, the family moved back to Pontiac, MI and Ryan attended Lincoln Jr. High. In Middle School he performed in various plays in and out of school. Ryan’s Talent awarded him the leading role in “The Quilted Giraffe,” the hit stage play that allowed him to travel and perform on various platforms. He also was awarded a full scholarship to the Blue Lake’s Fine Arts Camp. He was also active in little league football and won an Urban League Super Bowl Championship with the Pontiac Panthers. Ultimately, this move back to Pontiac was ordained by God through his father to start a ministry, “Berea Family Tabernacle of faith.” Ryan and his brothers were greatly active as he started out on the drums.  In High School, Ryan played both Jr. Varsity and Varsity football, ran track and field and has won medals and Varsity letters in both sports. He was awarded both Most Valuable Defensive Back and had received the Huskies Award (Discipline, motivation to others, school pride and leadership). Ryan also was famed in school for a leading role in the hit stage play, “The Wiz.” He graduated High school with High honors as an inducted National Thespian- an honored membership of national actors and actresses.

After graduating High School Ryan attended Wayne State University. While there, his activities included Varsity Football and were awarded the Randy Guzowski Award- for leadership, school pride, motivation and dedication to the football team. He also participated and worshiped with the Wayne State University Gospel Choir and served with the School of Business Student Senate. Ryan Graduated from the School of Business in 2005 with a degree in Accounting.

One of Ryan’s favorite statements, “It’s not just a privilege being a dad, but an honor being a father.” With that being said, he takes pride every day in dating his daughters Rayn Destiny Rutley (February 1, 2007) and Kirstyn Pamela Rutley (February 6, 2008). Adjacent to all scholastic activities, Ryan served at the Berea Family Tabernacle of Faith Church with his father for 15 years- of which he was the music Pastor for 9 years (immediately after the death of the preceding late Lewis Brent). Since age 17 Ryan was gifted and forced from the drums to the organ. After opening up his heart to God, Ryan was influenced by God for every musical gift. Without music lessons, Ryan quickly grasped music from the heart of God and began to prophetically play the organ and keyboard. After time he co-labored as the Youth Pastor for 7 years (From year 2000 – 2007). He has helped orchestrate some of the community’s top annual events such as the “Back To School Street Jam,” “Autumn Children’s Festival,” Summer Trips, Youth Sunday Weekends, Award Ceremonies, Youth Nights, Shut-ins, etc.

Currently, Ryan is a proud member of Connection (The Rutley Brothers). This group consists of the Rutley Brothers, (Ryan and his brothers). They have been singing for over 15 years since children traveling and singing- ministering to people of all ages. As a result all five brothers write, arrange and produce. They have helped many others on projects with singing, arranging and writing. They have also shared the stage with many national recording artists, and as children attended church with Pastor, Dr. Marvin Sapp at Bethel Pentecostal Church.  Parallel to Connection, Ryan is the CEO and owner of a company entitled, “Psalms Group”. The activities of Psalms Group consist of the following: Music Production, Taxes, Creative Arts/ Film, Painting & Street Ministry. Ryan has traveled extensively in the Gospel music industry work and has helped establish music ministry for many churches-with workshops, music/ vocal training and artist development.

He is currently a member of Christian Tabernacle Church (Dr. James L. Morman -Pastor). His capacity as the Youth Pastor for 3 ½ years included hosting life changing youth Conferences, concerts for Israel & New Breed, and has served in Drama Ministry, Brotherhood, Youth, Media and Contact Outreach. Parallel to that, Mr. Rutley is pursuing his Biblical Studies degree in Divinity at the Berea Biblical Institute Studies.  He is a producer, writer, arranger, composer and Psalmist –worship leader. Ryan’s passion is to see the people from all walks of life and nations to reconcile back to Christ. His Vision for Psalms is to reach out to the total man (Spiritual, Physical & Emotional) and win them to Christ. He also endeavors to Create Scholarships for youth, host training sessions for biblical, economical and educational purposes and ultimately build the Kingdom for Christ. His favorite God given quote is, “ Focus on the promise, not the problem!” This is an encouragement for the believer to know that every promise God has made is guaranteed to come to past, and that living for God results in blessings with sincerity. As a Father, Accountant, Music Producer and Business owner, his greatest love is ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Ryan’s favorite Scripture is …

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Philippians 1:6 King James Version
